Military Long Drive Qualifier at Fort Jackson Golf Club

Fort Jackson will host a Military Long Drive Competition on March 30 at 2 pm, for all Active Duty Service Members (All Branches), Retired, Reserve and National/Coast Guard members at least 18 years old with valid ID. This is one of 12 qualifiers held across the Army, all sanctioned by the World Long Drive Association. Winners from each of the 12 installations will compete at Fort Jackson May 5-7, 2019.
Local Installation Prizes
- 1st Place: $500 Pro Shop gift certificate + expense-paid trip to compete at MLDC, held 5-7 May 2019 at Fort Jackson, SC. Travel and lodging coordinated and provided by Golf Channel.
- 2nd Place: $200 Golf Pro Shop Gift Certificate.
- 3rd Place: $100 Golf Pro Shop Gift Certificate Grand Prize
- The contestant who hits the longest qualified drive during the MLDC in Fort Jackson, South Carolina will win $10,000 cash and be granted exemption into the Volvik World Long Drive Championship (August 30-September 4).
